Paid Listings & Promotion Options

Everything you post on DOSTUP can be found by the people looking for it. When you want a listing to stand out more, DOSTUP offers optional paid tools that give it extra visibility. Here is how each one works.

HOT listing

HOT keeps your listing at the top of its category, so people browsing that category see it first.

Your listing is pinned at the top of its category’s listing page and marked with the flame badge and an orange frame.
It is shown ahead of regular listings in that category — in your state or nationwide, depending on the reach you choose.
Choose 14, 30 or 90 days. The price for each option is shown before you pay.
When several listings are promoted at the same time, they take turns in the top positions so visibility is shared fairly.
HOT increases visibility. It does not guarantee views, messages, sales, hires, bookings or any other result.

VIP listing

VIP is DOSTUP’s highest-visibility placement, for listings that should be seen well beyond their own category.

Your listing is marked with the VIP ribbon and appears in the VIP listings section.
VIP listings take turns in the VIP carousel on the homepage and on the Listings, category, Places, Events & Activities, News and Blog pages, and may also be shared on DOSTUP’s social pages.
VIP includes HOT for its whole duration at no extra charge, so your listing is also pinned at the top of its category.
You choose state or nationwide reach, and visitors see VIP listings from their own state first.
Choose 30, 90 or 180 days, in categories where VIP is offered. VIP is not available for Marketplace.
VIP increases visibility. It does not guarantee views, messages, sales, hires, bookings or any other result.

How it works

Choose HOT or VIP while creating a listing, or later with “Boost listing” once it is live.
Pay securely through Stripe. The price, duration and reach are shown before you confirm.
Your promotion starts once payment is confirmed and the listing is approved. If a listing is rejected before activation, the authorization is released and no charge is made.

Listings that require payment to publish

Publishing a listing is free in most categories. Some categories may require a publication fee, which is set separately for each category.

If a category requires a fee, you will see the price and how long the listing stays published before you submit it.
A listing in such a category goes live only after payment is confirmed and the listing is approved.

Publication fee

Required to publish a listing in a category that charges for publication. Without it, the listing is not published.

Promotion — HOT or VIP

Always optional. It adds extra visibility to a listing and can be added when you create it or later.

Before you purchase

Promotions can increase the visibility of your listing, but DOSTUP does not guarantee views, inquiries, sales, employment, bookings, transactions, or any other specific result.

Refunds

Paid promotional services, including HOT and VIP placements, cannot be canceled or refunded after moderation approval and activation, except where required by law or when DOSTUP fails to provide the purchased service. If a listing is rejected before activation, the authorization is released and no charge is made.

This condition is part of the DOSTUP Terms of Use and is shown again before you pay.

If something went wrong with a payment — for example, a duplicate charge, or a promotion you paid for that was never delivered — contact us and we will review it.
